We are happy to announce that we are resuming indoor operations as of 10/25/20.

We've implemented new guidelines to meet and exceed all mandatory COVID guidelines. 

However, if you are still not comfortable receiving services indoors. Don't worry! We will still be able to serve you at our extension of the spa, located at our sister building (Chester Williams Building) rooftop. If you wish to receive service outdoors, simply call or email us to coordinate your outdoor session. 


We're offering outdoor massages, body scrubs, wraps, waxing & express facials so you can get in, get out, and leave feeling refreshed. Our temporary location is in one of our sister buildings, the Chester Williams Building rooftop, located 215 W. 5th St, directly across from our current location.  We have set up a couple of gazebos to destress and pamper you from. This new location will allow us to provide treatments while staying in compliance with the new regulations and guidelines. We are also installing  fans to help regulate some of the summer heat. The new rooftop area has an amazing view looking west towards Broadway and overlooking the DTLA skyline.

We also have new hours and an updated menu. 

  • No more walk-ins (all clients must have an appointment)

  • Due to limited telephone support we strongly recommend booking your appointment online here

  • Our new location doesn't have a restroom. You will need to visit the restroom in the building basement gym before coming up to the roof) we advise to using the restroom before coming up to avoid any delay having to return downstairs.

  • We are on the rooftop, and the elevator doesn't go to the top, be prepared to come up one flight of stairs to find us

  • We can no longer accommodate showers or lockers. You will get undressed inside the gazebo where you are receiving your treatment. 

  • The new temporary outdoor location is not handicap accessible 

  • We can't accommodate groups larger than 5 people due to our limited space

  • We are now taking prepayment on all appointments (tip is not included) 

  • If you elect to not tip, 15% will be added to the final bill

  • Same day booking appointments are non-refundable

  • All clients must fill out an intake form before their appointment, that can be found HERE

  • This space doesn't have a bathroom or showers. However, if you need to use the restroom kindly do so before taking the elevator to the roof. The door guard can take you the building restroom located in the basement, inside the gym

  • Because of the new limited space, we advise clients to wear sunblock to protect from the sun while waiting for your service at our outdoor space.

  • All appointments must meet our cancellation policies in order to be eligible for a refund, you can read them here

As a result of the new guidelines we have moved our operations to a new outdoor location, to comply with city and state laws.


Please keep any valuables that you’ve brought to DESUAR on your person for the duration of your visit. Unfortunately, DESUAR cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Would a male masseuse make you blush? If you have a preference for the gender of your therapist, please state it when you book your appointment.
As payment for spa services or retail, we currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express(R), Discover Card, DESUAR gift cards and good old-fashioned cash. Sorry, but we do not accept personal checks or Travelers checks in-spa.
You may opt to leave gratuities for shoulders well rubbed, skin well scrubbed, etc. The recommended range is between 15% and 25% of the full retail price of the service provided, but the amount is left up to your discretion. Gratuities can be paid in cash or by credit card
DESUAR reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or raise prices on certain treatments without prior notification to ensure that maximum standards of service and quality are met. If you have any questions, please ask your reservationist.
